Release & Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement

In consideration of being permitted to enter for any purpose any Restricted Area (herein defined as including but limited to rodeo arena, competition area, chutes, pens, areas reserved & intended for participants or restricted to event), or being permitted to compete, officiate, observe, work for, or for any purpose participate in any way in the event, each of the undersigned, for himself/herself, his/her personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, acknowledges, agrees and represents that he has, or will, inspect all restricted areas, and does further warrant that entry upon such restricted areas and participation in event constitutes acknowledgment that he/she has inspected and accepts same as being safe and reasonably suited for purpose thereof, and further agrees and warrants that if, at any time, he/she is in or about restricted areas and feels anything to be unsafe, he/she will immediately advised officials.

(1) Hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the participants, sanctioning organization, rodeo committee, stock contractor, rodeo association, arena operators, owners, or lessees, officials, any persons in any restricted area, promoters, sponsors, advertisers and each of them, their officers and employees, all for the purposes herein referred to as "releases", from all liability to the undersigned, his/her personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of undersigned, whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise while undersigned is in or upon the restricted area, and/or, competing, officiating in, observing, work for, or for any other purpose in the event and hereby assumes full responsibility for, and risk of, bodily injury, death or property damage due to negligence of releases or otherwise while in or upon the restricted areas for any purposes of participating in the event. (2) Hereby agrees to indemnify, save and hold harmless the releases and each of them from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to the presence of the undersigned in or upon restricted area and for any purpose participating in the event and whether caused by negligence of releases or otherwise.

Each of the undersigned expressly acknowledges and agrees that the activities of the event are very dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage. Each of the undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the province of the state in which the event is conducted and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ ABOVE AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS BELOW, and further agrees that no oral representations, statements, or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.

In signing this application, I understand that I am bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the GCPRA. All applications are subject to approval of GCPRA Board of Directors.

Liability Waiver & Financial Responsibility Agreement (Required for MINORS only.)

do hereby release the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association (GCPRA) and sponsoring groups, organizations & individuals from any and all responsibility for injury or disabilities for any nature whatsoever, suffered or inflicted by or through our minor son/daughter's participation in any & all GCPRA activities. We further agree to the terms of the Release & Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement immediately preceding this waiver. We also agree to assume any & all financial responsibility incurred by our son/daughter as a GCPRA member. This release/acceptance is complete & is not conditioned by any word or deed by either the undersigned & sponsoring bodies and/or individuals of said association.
